When renting a vehicle, in case of damage or an accident, you are responsible for paying a maximum (Franchise). A deposit of between 500 eur up to 2500 eur will be required by the car hire company. This amount is called Excess and is representative of the client's contribution in case of damage. When picking up the car, this guarantee is retained. The customer is able to choose, when they sign the agreement, between one of the insurances that follows: Stadard Protection or Full Protection, in both cases however they will also have to pay the mandatory minimum Deposit.
